Passion

Jane’s childhood love of geology led to a desire to explore the natural geological formations of the world, over time this evolved into a deeper fascination for gemmology and crystal structures. Her undergraduate Art and Textile design projects focused on an obsession with rock strata, hours spent in museum collections sketching , and then stitching, trying to capture the essense of spirit within the stones.

With this background, Jane now enjoys feeding the imagination of the goldsmiths to whom she couriers , her gems, her background gives her a good understanding of the designers needs , as commissions and projects evolve.

Extensive travel and interest in ancient cultures has increased her curiosity for stones as talismans, amulets and totems. We all have some connection with crystals in our life. For me the colour and natural curious forms lift my soul and bring me pure joy. The connection to both the ancient natural world and peoples, draws me to study museum collections of ancient gem material artifacts. Mineral and Gem rough has its own powerful draw, skilled cutters can bring out the true spirit within a stone and then we are truly captured within the crystal beauty.

Concept

This new ‘one season only’ collection focuses on unique ‘one of a kind’ curious crystal cabochons.

Striking bold pops of colour with playful iridescence, lustre and fire. I will show you crystals you have never seen before! Druzy sparkle, encrusted caves and quirky florets and nuggets.

You will leave the show inspired with pure Crystal Beauty and a pocket full of treasures to create unique pieces for your clients.

We also have a small selection of affordable faceted gemstones.
